    St. Andrew's church at Didling

    the shepherds' church

St Andrew's church is known as the "Shepherds' Church", undoubtedly because the shepherds who tended their famous sheep on the South Downs used it as a place of worship. People have probably worshipped at St. Andrew's for the best part of 1000 years and today services are held at least once a month.

Just one of the wonderful finds along the foot of the South Downs, come for a cosy stay at The Old Store Midhurst Bed and Breakfast and explore.
